Ag Filter
Filter Ag is a non-hydrous aluminum silicate. It has a very irregular surface design and is an extremely efficient granular medium. It is lighter than filter sand and requires a much lower backwash rate.

How It Works
As the water passes downward through the media, the turbidity and color is simply filtered out. The filtered items collect on the surface of the media bed and actually help the filtering capabilities of the unit. This unit works beautifully on water from shallow wells, lakes and ponds.

Next Sand Filters
Next Sand is based on a rare natural mineral that is highly processed and graded. It’s unique properties allow it to radically alter the performance and cost of media filtration. The hardness, stability and microporous character of Nextsand makes it a perfect filtration media for virtually every application in the water and wastewater treatment industry.

How It Works
Atomic level “nano-templates” on the surface of next-H2S granules enable extremely rapid catalytic reactions which convert hydrogen sulfide to filterable particles of insoluble sulfur. These particles are then easily filtered out by conventional back-washing media. Absolutely no oxidizing agents such as chlorine, potassium permanganate or ozone are required.

Furthermore, unlike conventional methods, the efficacy and efficiency of next-H2S is virtually unaffected by pH or temperature. Making this material great for Iron as well as H2s removal.
